Lucille Villaseñor-Caron

Lucille is a Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, and an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner who is interested in the overall well-being and harmonious interconnectedness of all that exists. It is her passion to be of service to others by creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that supports happiness, wellbeing and healing through a holistic and cross-cultural approach that integrates practical tools, modern psychological theories and ancient wisdom. With a background in Sociology and International Relations, Lucille's early work focused on a multidisciplinary approach to social, political, economic and environmental issues affecting all levels of society, from the local to the global level. After working in several institutions which focused primarily on the macro level of change, she realized that the essence of her being was to work at the individual level as well. When she realized the important relationship between transforming and liberating both the individual and the global level together – she decided to complete a Master’s in Social Work to provide both counselling and psychotherapeutic services while being aware of structural realities that may impact an individual’s sense of happiness and overall well being. Since 2006, which is when she was diagnosed with MS, she has been on an ongoing healing journey for both personal and professional reasons. Lucille strongly believes that it is essential for therapists to do our own healing work if we are to support others in their journeys. Throughout her own journey, and especially when connecting with the spiritual dimension of her being, Lucille continue's to learn about the possible mind-body connections of dis-ease and illness. This increased awareness provides her with an empowering sense of hope, which helps her overcome the mental and emotional distresses often experienced when living with MS. And so, when she discovered the mind-body healing and transformational benefits of integrating a holistic approach into both her personal and professional journey, she first became a Yoga teacher, and then continued on to learn about Ayurveda — first as an Ayurvedic Counsellor and then as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. She continues to be a dedicated student of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Psychotherapy. Throughout this journey, Lucille continues to cultivate compassion through her spiritual nature so that she can heal her Self, and contribute to the healing of our world as she works in service to others. In addition to being of service and deepening her yoga practice, she loves to walk with her family, cook, laugh and explore with curiosity external and inner worlds.

Her career spanned hospitality, sales, retail operations for skincare company, and event /project planning and marketing for top Canadian entrepreneurs from Dragons Den and Entrepreneurs Organization. As an executive assistant for 10 years she learned to manage the most demanding of schedules and get very strategic about protecting the focus and energy of company leaders to keep them operating at their best. Her creative, make-your-own-rules mindset drew her to equally nimble and high growth entrepreneurs and companies. She crafted a proactive, holistic approach to time and energy management that worked so effectively for her and her exec that she began teaching the rest of her team, peers and then clients to do it for themselves. She believes that taking care of your wellbeing and home life with the same strategic, proactive mindset as you do your business,'grows the pie' of time and energy for what matters most, expanding capacity by working with your natural rhythms and taking advantage of peak performance times. She now shares her knowledge and tactics with the masses, teaching individuals and teams to value and focus their time better like successful entrepreneurs do. Tianna Tettemer

We (Tianna + Amable) have both used movement as a form of expression for as long as we can remember. Our lives have led us on individual paths of movement - movement that deepened our ability to connect - and when those individual paths merged acroyoga held us both so tenderly. Together we share decades of training dedicated to a diverse list of movement arts along with a sophisticated understanding of body mechanics. Our experience is drawn from numerous lineages of yoga, gymnastics, boxing, various styles of dance, thai massage, and a highly refined acro yoga practice. We both love the dedication these movement practices inspire but also enjoy using them to re-connect with our inner child. This has allowed us to establish a unique, creative, and playful teaching style. When being guided by us, expect to refine your acroyoga practice in a safe space, defying the voices we hear in our heads at times that put limits on what we're truly capable of. We will bring you back to the place where magic is possible and we have the opportunity to create it as we soar to new heights!| One of our greatest passions is building community and connection. We love to learn about the human experience as if the borders etched by our own human race did not exist; to acknowledge that at times we may all feel so divided, but at our hearts, we all just simply seek the same thing... To be happy, and to be loved. In unity, we rise.
